The rules of roulette are quite simple. In this game, you have a wheel that has red and black slots that have the numbers from 1 to 36 and a zero slot in green color. Apart from the wheel, you have the table which also features the numbers and several additional sectors on which you can place bets. All bets must be made after the dealer announces “Place your bets please”, and betting should stop the moment the dealer announces “No more bets please”. , ( no more bet ) While all participants in the game place their bets on the table, the dealer spins the wheel and throws a small ball in the opposite direction of the wheel.

The winning number is the number where the ball lands. If you have bet on this number or on a group of numbers that contain it, you will receive a payment. It is important to know the type of bets you can place when playing roulette – described and illustrated below:

Bet Name Covered Numbers and Chip Placement System :

  1. Straight ( Plein ) is a bet that covers only one number by placing the chip inside the square of the number. Paying 35 times the bet. To see the table.

  2. Split (cheval) This is a bet on two numbers adjacent to the table by placing the chip on the split line between the two numbers. Paying 17 times the bet. To see the table

  3. Street This is a bet on three consecutive numbers located on the same line by placing the chip on the outside corner of the row. Paying 11 times the bet. See the table.

  4. Corner ( carré )This is a four number bet, placed by placing the chip on the common corner of the four numbers. Paying 8 times the bet. See the table.

  5. Six Line, It is a bet on two adjacent lines by placing the chip on the common outside corner of the two lines. Paying 5 times the bet. See the table.

  6. Red or Black ( Rouge ou noir ), It is an outfield bet by placing the chip on the color of the chosen field. Paying 1 to 1 the bet. See the table.

  7. Even or odd (Pair ou impair) This is an outfield bet by placing the chip on the chosen field. Paying 1 to 1 the bet. See the table.

  8. Dozens (douzaine) This is an outfield bet placing the chip on 1 of the 3 dozen picks. (1 to 12) (13 to 24) (25 to 36). Paying 2 to 1 the bet. To see the table.

  9. Columns (Colonnes) This is an outfield bet by placing the chip on 1 of the 3 chosen columns. Paying 2 to 1 the bet. To see the table.

How to play and win roulette :

  1. Choose your games you want to bet on and choose a bet amount that suits your bankroll. Place your bet on the number(s) of your choice or outfield. Wait for the Dealer to spin the ball and reveal the winning number, collect your winnings if you guessed the number.

  2. There are many betting combinations that all bring you different winning odds and payouts. The more you bet on the field, the more your chances of winning increase, and therefore, the lower the winnings offered by the game. Apart from this, knowing that roulette bets are divided into three main categories: inside best, outside bets and announced bets.

  3. Roulette rules aren’t the only thing you need to know perfectly to have a good time playing. If you take a closer look at the layout of the roulette table, you will notice that the main part is the numbers from zero to 36 and the rest are sectors for betting on groups of numbers: odd / even, red / black, 1- 18/19-36, columns and dozens. Bets you place on the numbers themselves are called inside bets, while bets you place on the other areas are called outside bets.

  4. As already mentioned, outside bets in roulette are those bets placed outside the field of numbers, on areas that cover the largest groups of numbers. There are five common types of outside bets:

    • Red or black.

    • Even or odd.

    • 1 to 18 or 19 to 36.

    • Dozens.

    • Columns.

  1. Neighbors of Zero :
    • It is a bet of 17 dialed numbers and 9 chips to play it.
    • It is between number 22 and number 25 passing through
    • Numbers of Zero neighbors are .22,18,29,7,28,12,35,3,26,0,32,15,19,4,21,2,25
    • A trio covering 0,2,3 – 2 chips
      Five split: 4/7, 12/15, 18/21, 19/22, 32/35 – 1 chip for each split
    • A corner: 25/26/28/29 – 2 chips
  2. Tier :
    • It is located opposite of Voisins du Zéro and covers 12 numbers – from 27 to 33.
    • This is where the name of the Tier comes from, it literally translates to “one third of the wheel”.
    • All numbers covered by this bet are: 27, 13, 36, 11, 30, 8, 23, 10, 5, 24, 16 and 33. It is a 6 chips bet, one chip for each split.
    • One chip for each split: 5/8, 10/11, 13/16, 23/24, 27/30 and 33/36
  3. Orphelin :
    • This is a bet that covers 8 numbers and 5 chips to play.
    • Orphelin covers the rest of the numbers which are not covered by Voisins du Zéro and Tier bets.
    • The numbers are: 1, 6, 9, 14, 17, 20, 31 and 34.
    • One chip straight up for number 1 and 4 splits. 6/9, 14/17, 17/20 and 31/34.
